First Lego League

The Ann Arbor team leads a fun group of kids, ages 9 to 11, who prepare for and compete in a local First Lego League competition. The kids meet with our engineers and designers at the Ann Arbor facility every Thursday to build their Lego robots and learn science, math and engineering concepts.

Pet Mobility Project

Our team is working with the local branch of the PET (Personal Energy Transportation) Mobility Project, a nonprofit that strives to bring mobility to the disabled primarily in rural areas of developing nations. We are helping them streamline their manufacturing process to increase volume and simplify the process for volunteers.

Hands On Museum

Assisting the museum staff of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, our team really enjoyed re-working and upgrading a rolling ball exhibit in their pre-school room, to help it function more smoothly and consistently. Engineers, designers and strategists from both the Ann Arbor and Zeeland Disher offices joined forces with Hands-On Museum staff for an action-packed White-Board-Wednesday Extreme event to create and brainstorm on nearly 20 new exhibits for a future, interactive Physics and Engineering Exhibition.
