Disher is expanding.
We are continually working to grow our business – so much so that we are proud to announce our latest award, the Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant of $200,000. This grant will allow Disher to continue hiring and creating positions while maintaining our innovative space and training programs. Ann Arbor SPARK has also joined MEDC in the backing, supporting the project with staff time, resources, and networking.
Lakeshore Advantage also worked side by side with the Disher leadership team to make a case for growth in our region and state.
“Disher is a shining example of the strength of our community’s entrepreneurial spirit,” said Jennifer Owens, president, Lakeshore Advantage, Zeeland, MI. “Disher has grown into a world-class company in product development. The MEDC support will help secure their long-term future in our region.”
Talking numbers.

With 130 employees already building our business, we’re excited to expand the team even further. Great Place to Work.
The MEDC grant continues Disher’s growth and development that has significant recognition in recent years. Ranked as the 21st Best Small Company Workplace in the US by Great Place to Work, Disher’s title has also been published in Fortune magazine.

Time to polish off the resume.
Disher wants individuals who can help shape our company culture into making a positive difference with employee and customer relationships alike. Disher allows our employees to be owners in the company ESOP. As owners they get to decide how to divide and share the “Profit Pie,” with certain slices going toward bonuses, profit sharing, stewardship, training, and investment back into the company. Disher also implements a take-what-you-need vacation policy, flex time, 401k match, free Friday lunches, and workspaces that encourage innovation and creativity. Don’t be surprised if you discover a nerf gun bullet attached to your computer midday – the office welcomes nerf gun wars and anyone could be a target. If there was ever a time to consider Disher as your next career move, the time would be now. Right now.
